New Branches
We have three new branches; Lytham, St. Annes and Rural. We would ask you to aim to get involved, both in the running of, and social activities of the relevant branch over the next few weeks and months. Details of all social events will be circulated to all members.
Membership Renewals
If you are having difficulties renewing your membership, please contact us at the FCA office. Cllr. Viv Willder will be more than happy to assist you in this.
Mark Menzies MP
The executive committee recently met and unanimously adopted Mark to be our candidate for the next General Election. This allows Mark to continue with his work to ensure Fylde remains a blue wall stronghold.
New mayor of Fylde
The new Mayor is Cllr. Ben Aitken, who has represented Ansdell ward since 2007. We wish Ben every success in his mayoral year, ad would ask you to give the mayoral team as much support as you possibly can. We shall aim to circulate mayoral events as the appear.
New Mayor of St. Annes on-the-sea Town Council
Town Cllr. Karen Harrison has been elected as the mayor of St. Annes for the forthcoming year. I know that Karen will continue the great work in St. Annes which makes a positive impact for all our residents.
Rural Fundraiser
The next Rural fundraiser, 'Party in the Garden', is being held on 3rd July 2022, courtesy of Alan and Sue Ashton. It is a joint venture along with Blackpool South Association and tickets are priced at £12 per person, which includes lasagne and salad. If you would like to purchase a ticket, please email [email protected] or telephone 01253 640245 at your earliest convenience. I hope to see as many members as possible attend this wonderful event.
