As an NHS Pharmacist, I have spent years serving the needs of my community, working to ensure that people have access to the medications and care they need. But I believe that I can do even more to help the people I serve by becoming a councillor. As a councillor, I would have the ability to influence my local area and work to improve the lives of the people I represent.
One of the things that excites me about the idea of becoming a councillor is the opportunity to see a problem through from beginning to end. In my work as a pharmacist, I have often encountered people who are struggling with issues related to housing, healthcare, and infrastructure. As a councillor, I would be in a position to work with my colleagues to address these issues head-on, proposing practical solutions and seeing them through to completion.
