Since elected in 2019 as the youngest councillor in Fylde Council history, I have focused on representing young people and making sure our local communities are heard. I have served the people of Ashton Ward, and Fylde, across multiple committees. Environment, Heath & Housing, Operational Management and Audit & Standards, and have ensured that each decision made was in line with our community ethos and delivered professionally. I am the Fylde Council board member on Lancaster, Fylde and Wyre Children’s Partnership Board, where I have been able to help shape new strategies for our young people across the Northwest.
I have lived in St Annes from an early age, attending Heyhouses Primary and Lytham High School. I have been a member and Chairman of St Annes Town Youth Council, and a member of St Annes Parish Church.
Outside of politics, I am employed as a Senior Financial Services Auditor; a position that has helped me greatly throughout my four years in office. I use these skills to justify decisions made and give structured opinions to make sure we get the best services across Fylde.
Finally, I wish to continue to put our local community at the forefront of what I do. Over the last four years I have been involved in multiple local organisations, some of these include: St Annes Carnival, LSA Twinning Association and more recently a School Governor at Heyhouses Endowed C of E Primary School, located in the new Ashton Ward.
As one of a few debt-free councils in the UK, it is vital that our Conservative-led Council remains Conservative, to ensure excellent services across our wonderful borough.
