Originally from Merseyside, I have lived in St Annes for 15 years with my partner. We have 2 daughters, 2 young grandchildren and 4 rescue dogs. I am a commercial property surveyor with 40 years’ experience working as a full-time consultant for a large North West property-owning organisation, having previously worked for both central and local government, a pension fund, a major UK property company and run my own practice.
I was elected as a Fylde Borough Councillor for Kilnhouse Ward in 2019 and I’m currently a member of the Planning and Finance & Democracy Committees having previously served on Operational Management. I also serve on the St Annes Town Centre and Car Park Working Groups.
If re-elected, I will continue to work hard for the residents of Kilnhouse Ward and St. Annes. I’m particularly interested in regeneration of the Town Centre, promoting economic development to create local jobs and affordable housing to purchase in the area for young people and believe my professional expertise is invaluable in trying to achieve these goals.
I was closely involved with the development of the new town centre masterplan and the first two phases of the Blackpool Road North Playing Fields improvements being the new drainage and play area. I aim to progress future phases involving general landscaping, new facilities for St Annes Football Club and a solution to off-road parking.
